Lady Manners School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide learning and care support for pupils with special educational needs. You will work with class teachers to deliver activities, support routines, transitions and behaviour management.

You will establish relationships with pupils, promote inclusion, assist with IEPs, and help with literacy and numeracy support under teacher supervision. DBS/training may be provided.

Mansioni

• Work with SEND children that have significant SEND needs and those that are awaiting specialist placement.
• Plan and deliver learning activities under the direction and guidance of the class teachers.
• Work closely with the class teachers to contribute to the management of pupil behaviour, maintain order and an appropriate working environment.
• Assist with setting out learning materials.
• Assist with the development and implementation of IEPs.
• Provide comfort and immediate care in case of minor accidents, in accordance with our policy.
