Job summary

Classroom Support is assisting a welcoming primary school in Greenwich to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs, helping them access learning and build confidence.

You will work closely with class teachers to deliver inclusive learning experiences, provide one-to-one and small-group support, and monitor progress. A safeguarding DBS check is required and the role offers a competitive daily rate of £95.

Qualifications

• SEN support experience or TA qualification is essential.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with students, parents and staff.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Safeguarding training and a valid Enhanced DBS check are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support for pupils with SEN.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan inclusive learning activities.
• Deliver one-to-one and small-group support to reinforce key objectives.
• Encourage student engagement, confidence and independence in the classroom.
• Foster a positive, safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records to monitor student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
