Job summary

Academics is seeking passionate individuals to support SEN learners with a range of needs. Roles include part-time, full-time and long-term positions with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Successful candidates will earn a minimum of 90 a day.

A team-teach qualification is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be driven, committed to helping children make good progress, and comfortable supporting pupils in both mainstream and specialist settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEND either on a 1:1 basis or in a classroom setting.
• Enthusiastic about working with SEND children.
• Be flexible, proactive and patient.
• Comfortable with personal care.
• Be able to communicate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a similar role in either a mainstream or specialist setting.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
