Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd in Croydon is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support learners across Primary, Secondary and SEND/Autism settings. Roles include daily cover and long-term full-time positions aimed at immediate start subject to safeguarding checks.

You will work with enthusiastic teams, follow directions, and bring a proactive, hands-on approach to classroom support while ensuring inclusive practices and safe learning environments.

Qualifications

• Recent classroom experience in a Primary, Secondary or Autism and SLD / and or PMLD settings
• Experience supporting individuals in other sectors (Support Work, Care etc.)
• Passion and desire to work in either Mainstream or SEND learning environments
• Initiative, willingness and hands on approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Live within a fair commute to the school

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across Primary and Secondary age ranges
• Support Mainstream and SEND learners, including those with additional learning difficulties
• Work as part of a proactive team to follow directions and maintain a positive learning environment
