Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking SEND Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term roles in Stevenage and surrounding areas. You will support pupils with SEND, assist with behaviour management, and work with teachers to implement individual plans.

Ideal candidates have SEND experience, resilience and strong communication. Training such as Team Teach or CACHE Level 2/3 is valued. Salary is paid weekly through PAYE, with access to exclusive deals and wellbeing services.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in educational settings.
• Demonstrates resilience, empathy and a calm approach to challenging behaviour.
• Confident working independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Holds training or qualifications (Team Teach, Step On, CACHE Level 2/3).
• Committed to promoting pupil well‑being and progress.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND including ASD, SEMH, MLD and SLD.
• Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual support plans.
• Encourage pupil engagement and participation in learning activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently.
