Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEND across welcoming schools in Harlow. You will work one-to-one or in small groups to help pupils reach their potential and assist teachers in delivering inclusive lessons.

The role offers daily pay of £95-£108, flexible work options, and access to free training and ongoing professional development. A supportive consultant and opportunities for day-to-day, long-term, and permanent roles are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with SEND is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs.
• Work one-to-one and in small groups to help pupils achieve their full potential.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Foster a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
• Encourage pupils' academic, social, emotional and personal development.
• Adapt learning resources and activities to meet individual needs.
• Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
