Vision for Education Ltd is seeking compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEND in welcoming schools across Chigwell. Whether you have SEND experience or are looking to develop your career in education, we'd love to hear from you.

You will work with pupils who have autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs. A caring, patient approach and good teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Experience working with SEND desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs.
• Work one-to-one and in small groups to help pupils reach their potential.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
• Encourage pupils' academic, social, emotional, and personal development.
• Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs.
• Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
