Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils at a specialist SEND school in Addlestone, Surrey. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, assisting with access to learning and helping pupils build independence, confidence and communication skills.

You'll work alongside experienced teachers and specialist staff, providing patient, proactive support across the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.
• Patient, enthusiastic and reliable team player.
• Experience in education or care roles is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to changing daily bookings.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small group assistance.
• Work closely with teachers and specialist staff.
• Promote learning access and independence.
• Support social, emotional and communication development.
• Contribute to wider school activities.
