Job summary

Shenstone School is seeking enthusiastic and resilient individuals to join our dedicated team as support for pupils with SEND. You will work under the direction of the Class Teacher/Cover Supervisor, helping with emotional, social and cognitive learning and using engaging techniques to motivate pupils and promote wellbeing.

You may be required to work at our Secondary School in Halt Robin Road, Belvedere, Kent, and at our Primary Schools at 94 Old Road, Crayford, Kent, DA1 4DZ and St Andrews

Qualifications

• Must be confident and resilient when supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
• Able to help pupils with emotional, social and cognitive learning.
• Able to motivate pupils through engaging games/activities and support wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND to reach their full potential.
• Work as part of a team under the direction of the Class Teacher/Cover Supervisor.
• Initiate and participate in games/activities; ensure pupil safety and wellbeing.
• Possible site flexibility across school locations as vacancies arise.
