Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist SEND school in Northolt, West London. You will join a supportive team to provide individual and small-group support, help pupils access learning, and develop communication, independence and social skills.

Experience with autism and communication needs is preferred; you should be patient, resilient and calm, with safeguarding knowledge and an Enhanced DBS, ready to work alongside teachers, therapists and other

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with autism and communication needs
• Confident delivering 1:1 and small-group support
• Able to adapt activities to meet individual learning and communication needs
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures
