Job summary

Redwood is a large special school for learners with a wide range of complex SEND from 11-19. The post TA3+ supports individual students, small groups and delivers learning activities while contributing to safeguarding and learner progress.

The role includes whole-class teaching cover, 121 and small group interventions, and a commitment to inclusive education within a warm, supportive team. The post is permanent, term-time, 32.5 hours per week, commencing January 2027, with a salary of

• Provide specialist support to individual students, small groups and lead learning activities within a area of specialism.
• Deliver whole class teaching cover during PPA or staff absence where required.
• Deliver 121 and small group interventions, in and out of the classroom.
• Commit to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.
• Review and assess learner progress.
