Job summary

Milk Education are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in L5, Liverpool. The role is available on a long-term or short-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

You’ll support pupils with additional needs, work 1:1 where required, and collaborate with teachers on lesson planning and catch-up sessions. We value inclusive practice and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
• Must have a passion for education
• Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
• Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
• Must have experience using Personal Care

Responsibilities

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
• Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs
• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
• Deliver catch-up sessions
