Job summary

Milk Education is partnering with a well-regarded primary school in Halewood to recruit a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role starting immediately. You will work in Year 3, providing one-to-one support for two SEND pupils with additional needs on a morning and afternoon basis.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism and Complex Needs.
• Patience, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for two Year 3 children with additional needs.
• Support children with ASD, ADHD and Complex Needs.
• Keep the child engaged and on task throughout the school day.
• Prepare daily resources and support learning activities.
• Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff.
