Job summary

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Stanford-le-Hope is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support our SEND pupils and to provide interventions, working in partnership with the Class Teacher. Your duties include maintaining safety and welfare during lunchtimes, supervising the dining hall, administering first aid, and supporting children in small groups and 1:1.

This role requires flexibility, enthusiasm and a commitment to raising standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND pupils and providing interventions.
• Ability to maintain safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils.
• Willingness to work flexibly and with enthusiasm.

• Support SEND pupils and provide interventions in partnership with class teacher.
• Maintain safety and welfare of pupils during lunchtimes; supervise dining hall; administer first aid; support play.
