A Specialist school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and SEND needs is looking for experienced Behaviour Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a long-term basis.
The school seeks a highly skilled SEND TA experienced with highly complex A.S.D./SEMH pupils. Responsibilities include supporting pupils' daily, academic, and social-emotional development, preparing them for secondary education. The role involves providing interventions and covering classes across the school, supporting teachers with learning activities both in and out of school under supervision.
Applicants should have prior experience supporting pupils with SEMH or complex emotional and behavioral needs. PRU or similar experience is preferred. Restraint or de-escalation training such as PRICE is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
