Job Overview

Tradewind Recruitment is working with several Special Needs Schools in Warwickshire to recruit Unqualified, Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants (TA's) for children with SEND from early years to post‑16 as well as an independent SEND College for young adults aged 19‑25 with PMLD.

The schools include SEND Trusts and Local Authority Schools with complex needs such as physical, sensory, medical, cognitive and learning challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day teaching and learning activities in school settings.
• Provide short‑term and full‑time assistance to pupils with complex needs.
• Assist with lesson planning and coordinate with teachers.
• Communicate with pupils who often use action or non‑verbal methods, adapting to their individual requirements.
