Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting pupils with complex needs in a school environment.
• Empathetic, patient and resilient – essential for working with children who communicate through action.
• Proven experience in schools, relevant qualifications and supporting references.
• Suitable for Level 2 or Level 3 TA roles, including Unqualified positions.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day teaching and learning activities in school settings.
• Provide short‑term and full‑time assistance to pupils with complex needs.
• Assist with lesson planning and coordinate with teachers.
• Communicate with pupils who often use action or non‑verbal methods, adapting to their individual requirements.
