Job summary

TeacherActive is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Tiverton, full-time, ASAP start. The role focuses on supporting a pupil with additional needs 1:1, aiding classroom engagement and emotional regulation in an inclusive environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEND (Autism, ADHD, SEMH), a caring, proactive attitude, good communication and teamwork, and the ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SEMH)

• The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
