Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a supportive mainstream primary school in Middlesbrough, seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join on a full-time, long-term basis from September. You will provide 1:1 support to pupils in KS1, helping them engage with learning and access appropriate support.

Salary: £93 - £100 per day

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from September. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support to pupils within Key Stage 1 / KS1, helping them engage with learning and access appropriate support throughout the school day.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting children with SEND and complex needs
• Experience providing 1:1 support
• A patient and supportive approach
• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability and a can-do attitude
