The Education Network Birmingham is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties in Key Stage 3 at a Birmingham campus. You will provide 1-2-1 and whole-class support, helping pupils access learning and reach their potential.

Working closely with the class teacher and SEN staff, you will implement tailored strategies to promote learning, social development and emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications

SEND Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 3 - Birmingham

This welcoming special school in Birmingham is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and support children with Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This role involves providing both 1-2-1 and whole class support for pupils in Key Stage 3, helping them to access learning and reach their potential.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of needs, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and engaged in the classroom. Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team, you will implement tailored strategies to promote learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing 1-2-1 support for pupils with Autism and MLD.
  • Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 3 classes.
