SEND Teaching Assistant

Runcorn

Pay: £425 – £475 per week (dependent on experience)

I am working with a SEND school in Runcorn, who are in need of a number or Teaching Assistants for both full time and part time roles.

The school itself caters for pupils with vrying additional needs, including Autism and Severe Learning needs, aged between 2 and 19. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be supporting students across school both inside and outside of the classroom. Staff at this school work together to ensure students needs are met, whether they be academic, social or sesnory, in a nurturing and engaging environment.

The school are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team immediately, to ensure students are comfortable, happy and cared for correctly.

Person Specification:

• Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs either in a School or a similar setting.
• Be willing to provide personal care
• Be confident in working with challenging behaviour
• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
• Any relevant qualifications would be advantageous, however not a necesity
