Job summary

PK Education Limited is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant in Nuneaton to support pupils with additional needs. Working as part of a supportive SEND team, you will assist with reading, writing and classroom tasks, helping students progress academically and personally.

The role is full-time, term-time only, with hours 8:30am – 3:30pm, starting ASAP for the academic year. Prior experience in SEN settings is welcome and professional development is encouraged within a nurturing school

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs.
• Desirable: TA qualification or relevant degree.

• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and meaningful learning
• Support pupils with reading, writing, and classwork
• Lead and deliver targeted interventions to support development
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to provide personalised support
• Assist with behaviour management in a nurturing and positive way
• Observe pupils and contribute to learning records
• Develop your curriculum knowledge as the school grows
• Help shape classroom routines and contribute to our evolving school culture
