Job summary

First For Education is recruiting a caring SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in South Birmingham. You’ll support young people with severe learning difficulties, sensory processing needs, and communication challenges, delivering 1:1 and small-group support and assisting with personal care where required.

You’ll work closely with teachers and specialists to create positive, inclusive learning experiences, with ongoing CPD and weekly PAYE payments available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, care or relevant support experience.
• Calm, compassionate and adaptable personality.
• Willingness to support complex individual needs.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Pay rates are dependent on experience, qualifications and suitability for the role, and may vary accordingly.
