Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a SEND Teacher to join a Kingston-based inclusive school in London. The role delivers high-quality, differentiated instruction for pupils with various needs, fostering academic progress, independence and confidence within a supportive, collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will plan lessons aligned to the National Curriculum and EHCPs, assess progress, and work closely with teachers, support staff and external agencies to ensure effective

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• SEN endorsement preferred.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver tailored lessons in line with the National Curriculum and EHCPs.
• Conduct regular assessments and adapt strategies to meet learners' targets.
• Coordinate with class teachers, support staff and external agencies to ensure consistent provision.
• Lead or co-lead small-group and 1:1 SEN sessions using evidence-based approaches.
• Contribute to school SEND policy, safeguarding, and inclusive culture initiatives.
• Maintain records and attend multidisciplinary meetings as required.
