Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking dedicated SEN Teachers for Essex primary and secondary schools. Positions are full-time, long-term or temp-to-perm with immediate interviews and placements across SEN settings.

You will deliver tailored lessons, support diverse needs, and help pupils access learning. Applicants should hold QTS (or equivalent) and PGCE or equivalent training, with strong classroom management and a patient, adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Teach pupils across primary and/or secondary SEN settings depending on placement
• Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities
• Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress
• Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and wider school teams
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
• Implement and follow EHCP targets and individual learning plans
• Support positive behaviour management strategies across the classroom

Role Overview

We are working with a range of SEN schools in Essex (primary and secondary settings) who are looking for dedicated SEN Teachers to join their teams immediately.
