Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking Teaching Assistants for immediate opportunities across East London. Roles include full-time, part-time, daily supply, and long-term placements in welcoming primary, secondary, and SEND settings.

You’ll join a supportive team with a dedicated consultant, access to East London schools, and competitive pay. We welcome candidates with classroom experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous Teaching Assistant experience in a school setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with a range of needs and abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Support classroom activities and learner engagement.
• Assist pupils 1:1 or in small groups as directed by teachers.
• Support children with SEND and adapt lessons to meet needs.
• Help teachers deliver engaging, inclusive lessons across subjects.
