We are currently seeking passionate and skilled Qualified Teachers to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across Southampton and the surrounding areas. Whether you're an ECT at the beginning of your teaching journey or a more experienced teacher looking for a rewarding new challenge, we want to hear from you.
These roles involve working with pupils who may present with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and/or challenging behaviour. A calm, adaptable and resilient teaching approach is essential.
Position Details:
Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Roles in specialist provisions, SEN units, and mainstream settings with SEN support
Pay in line with MPS/UPS – paid to scale
Start dates available ASAP or from September 2025
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Strong experience working with children with SEND
Confident in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet a range of needs
Positive behaviour management strategies and a nurturing teaching style
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
