We now have a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Teacher to join our close-knit team at Wessex Lodge School, part of Acorn Education.
As a qualified teacher, you will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, developing innovative methods to stimulate interest. You will observe, monitor, and assess students, focusing on both their personal development and academic progress.
You should be a passionate teacher and a great communicator, comfortable working with pupils with diverse needs and contributing to the school's vision. Building caring relationships and liaising with professionals are key aspects of the role.
UK QTS or equivalent qualification is required.
Wessex Lodge School comprises three sites offering a broad curriculum and various subject paths, including animal care, horticulture, DT, and forest school. Our students are aged 6 to 18, each with individual needs supported by the THRIVE approach.
