Overview

SEND Teacher

Location: Southwark, London

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Full Time - Flexible

Pay Rate: £150- £280 per day (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
  • Support secondary schools across Southwark as part of a supply pool for SEND teaching.
  • Must have teaching experience to work within secondary schools (KS2, KS3, KS4).
  • Create lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the needs of the curriculum.
  • Work alongside senior teachers to improve attainment across a range of abilities.
  • Manage behaviour and ensure tasks are completed by pupils.
  • Provide personal feedback to students and communicate with parents/guardians.
What we are looking for
  • QTS or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification.
  • Up-to-date Prevent and Safeguarding training certification required or willing to obtain one via Teaching Personnel.
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply via Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
