A leading education agency seeks a SEND Teacher in Chesterfield for a full-time role supporting students with diverse needs in a secondary setting. The ideal candidate will hold QTS and have experience in special education. This position offers competitive pay and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Pay to scale – £175 - £250 Per Day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: UK QTS and experience working with students with special educational needs and behaviours that challenge.
The role
As a SEND Teacher, you will be required to support the class in the delivery of lessons, whilst also providing support and guidance to the students in their variety of learning needs.
Working with students with special educational needs is an extremely rewarding environment to work in, however it can be challenging getting to know the needs of students and therefore this role benefits from consistency and continuity.
Ideally for this role you will have had experience working with Social, emotional and mental health needs of children or young adults, ASD, ADHA, MLD and Emotional behaviours difficulties.

Based in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ SEND provision in the Chesterfield area, the school caters for needs including but not limited to SEMH, ASC, ADHA, MLD and EBD.

The school caters for children in primary years all the way through to secondary (KS1 – KS4). This particular role will be based in a secondary aged classroom.
