Job summary

Remedy Education are recruiting dedicated SEN Teachers to join Brentwood primary and secondary settings immediately. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt curriculum for diverse needs, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support learning and wellbeing.

Qualified Teacher Status is required, with PGCE or equivalent. Experience in SEN education is valued; strong classroom management and a patient, adaptable approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Teach pupils across primary and/or secondary SEN settings depending on placement
• Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities
• Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress
• Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and wider school teams
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
• Implement and follow EHCP targets and individual learning plans
• Support positive behaviour management strategies across the classroom

Role Overview

We are working with a range of SEN schools in Brentwood (primary and secondary settings) who are looking for dedicated SEN Teachers to join their teams immediately.
