Job summary

A leading educational institution in Greater London is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support to children with special educational needs. The successful candidate will assist students both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis, helping them to overcome learning difficulties. This full-time role requires a passion for education and may involve working with children on the autism spectrum. Pay ranges from £90 to £105 per day, with a strong emphasis on communication skills required.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs.
  • Ability to support children in group settings and on a 1:1 basis.
  • Willingness to obtain or hold a valid enhanced DBS.

We are working with an Outstanding rated Primary School in Northolt who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is looking to make a difference as a Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and ideally be looking to teach in the near future.

Responsibilities
  • Support children in groups
  • Support children 1:1 including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties including non verbal
  • Work with SEND children
  • Assist the teacher with daily class duties
Requirements
