Job summary

Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust invites applications for a SEND Teaching Assistant at Worfield Endowed CE Primary School. The role is fixed term to 31 August 2027, 30 hours per week (6 hours daily, Monday to Friday).

Applicants should have experience of SEND in a primary setting and hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. The post may include support within Extended Schools and pastoral roles as discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with SEND in a primary school setting or in a specialist provision.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is required.
• Patience, warmth and determination to support a pupil with an EHCP.

Responsibilities

• Predominantly provide support to a pupil with an EHCP to enable curriculum access.
• Prepare resources and lead interventions as required.
