Aspire People are supporting a welcoming Primary School in Maghull, Liverpool to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time, ongoing basis. You will support two children across Nursery and Reception, helping with emotional regulation, early learning and positive behaviours.

The role offers ongoing development, the potential to move to a direct school contract after January, and referral/ signup bonuses as part of Aspire People’s rewards package.

Competenze

• Strong experience supporting children with SEND, particularly in Early Years settings.
• Experience supporting children with emotional regulation and challenging behaviour.
• DBS check (Enhanced) being obtained or in place.

Mansioni

• Providing dedicated support for two children across Nursery and Reception
• Supporting children who may become dysregulated and experience emotional outbursts
• Implementing consistent strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Helping the children develop their communication, social and early learning skills
• Working closely with class teachers and the wider school team to ensure consistent support
• Encouraging engagement in classroom activities, play-based learning and daily routines
• Helping to maintain a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
