Job summary

Vision for Education is the MSP for The Ascent Academies' Trust and is seeking enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Harrogate and North Yorkshire.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work with teachers to provide one-to-one and small-group support, help pupils access learning, and promote inclusive learning environments. Flexible full-time, part-time, permanent or temporary placements available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND in an educational or care setting.
• Passion for supporting learners with SEND and a patient, positive approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to children with a range of additional needs.
• Deliver one-to-one and small-group support to enable access to learning.
• Promote independence and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
