Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants and Carers to support children with complex needs in Stoke-on-Trent. You will work one-to-one or in small groups, helping pupils access learning and develop independence in a supportive environment.

We welcome graduates and individuals from care, healthcare or education backgrounds. A DBS check and right to work in the UK are required, with competitive daily pay (£90–£120) and weekly PAYE payments.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or vulnerable individuals with additional or complex needs.
• Patient, calm and compassionate approach.
• Willingness to provide personal care where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one or small-group support to pupils to access learning.
• Support pupils with complex needs to develop independence and feel safe and included.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to plan support.
