Job summary

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a specialist SEND school in Bury to recruit a SEND Support Worker. You will provide hands-on, personalised support to students aged 11-19 with complex needs, working closely with teachers, therapists and families to enable progress and inclusion.

The role is full-time and permanent, with term-time working hours and a daily rate aligned to school arrangements. You will contribute to safeguarding and deliver high-quality support in a specialist environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with complex SEND needs.
• Follow detailed support and care plans accurately and consistently.
• Eligible to work in the UK with right to work and enhanced DBS willingness.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, personalised support to students with SEND needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to remove barriers to learning.
• Support students to access learning through adapted activities and routines.
• Promote safeguarding and inclusive practice within a specialist setting.
