Job summary

Wellington Lions Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with SEND and work alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning activities. The successful candidate will help learners develop literacy, numeracy, communication and social skills, provide tailored learning support, monitor progress and wellbeing, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

This role is ideal for someone with classroom experience or a Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or classroom experience.
• Experience supporting students with SEND and assisting learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Support students with literacy, numeracy, communication and social skills.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.
• Monitor progress and wellbeing and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
