Protocol Education Limited is recruiting a SEND Support Assistant for a specialist setting in Morpeth. The role involves working with pupils who have autism, ADHD and other speech and language needs, helping them access learning and develop communication skills.

You will work with teachers and the SENDCo to support learning, emotion regulation, and progress, building strong relationships and promoting confidence and independence throughout the school day.

SEND Support Assistant – Morpeth (Full-Time)

Do you want to make a meaningful difference to children who need extra support to succeed in education?

A specialist SEND setting in Morpeth is looking for a dedicated SEND Support Assistant to join their team. You'll be working with pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social communication difficulties.

This is a highly rewarding role where you'll build strong relationships with pupils, support their learning and development, and help them gain the confidence and independence needed to thrive at school.

Location: Morpeth
Pay: £92.63 - £105 per day
Start Date: ASAP / September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

About the Role

You'll work closely with teachers, the SENDCo and support staff to provide tailored support throughout the school day. Whether that's helping a pupil regulate their emotions, supporting communication, or celebrating a breakthrough moment in learning, you'll play a vital role in their progress.
