Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Ferryhill is seeking a resilient SEND Support Assistant to help pupils with SEND in a specialist setting. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with emotional regulation, and help learners re-engage with lessons.

This long-term, full-time role offers ongoing consultant support, safeguarding training, and a welcoming team environment, with a focus on building positive relationships and consistency for learners facing barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is beneficial, particularly within SEND or PRU settings.
• Background in behaviour support, teaching assistant roles, youth work or care is advantageous.
• Resilience, patience and ability to build positive relationships with pupils.

SEND Support Assistant – Ferryhill

A specialist SEND/PRU setting in Ferryhill is looking for a resilient and dedicated SEND Support Assistant to join their team and support pupils who may experience significant barriers to learning.

This is a rewarding role for someone who understands that progress isn't always immediate and is willing to build positive relationships, remain patient and provide consistent support when pupils are struggling.

Location: Ferryhill
Pay: £92.63-£102 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
