Job summary

Hugh Baird College Campuses, Liverpool is seeking caring Personal Care Assistants to support students with learning difficulties and disabilities across our college campuses.

You will provide personal care, mobility and wellbeing support, assist in lessons and breaks, promote independence and work with teaching staff to help learners achieve their EHCP targets. Term-time only, permanent contracts, with generous benefits including pension and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND and disabilities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Willingness to undertake First Aid training and other development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, mobility and wellbeing support to learners.
• Assist students during lessons, breaks and transitions, promoting independence.
• Help learners access College facilities and participate in educational visits.
