Job summary

Hugh Baird College is seeking caring Personal Care Assistants to support students with learning difficulties, disabilities, medical needs and additional support requirements across our college campuses in Liverpool.

You will join the Learner Support team and provide personal care, mobility and wellbeing support, helping students access their curriculum and participate fully in college life.

• Experience in personal care and mobility support.
• Commitment to supporting students with SEND.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a college environment.

About the Role

We are seeking caring, dedicated and motivated Personal Care Assistants to support students with a range of learning difficulties, disabilities, medical needs and additional support requirements across our College campuses.

Working as part of our Learner Support team, you will play a vital role in helping students access their chosen curriculum, develop independence and participate fully in College life. The role involves providing personal care, mobility support, wellbeing support and assistance both in and outside of the classroom environment.

You will work closely with teaching staff, Learning Support Assistants and wider support teams to ensure students receive the highest standards of care while progressing academically and socially during their time at College.
