Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time SEND Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Blyth. You will support pupils with Autism, learning difficulties and complex needs, helping create a safe and supportive environment where every learner can grow in confidence.

All candidates will undertake safeguarding checks and may access DBS update service; training including SEND and Medical Needs will be provided, with ongoing consultant support and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in care backgrounds is valued for supporting pupils with autism and complex needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work with teachers and therapists.
• Commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
