Job summary

Bedford Borough Council is delivering an ambitious SEND reform programme that brings together education, health and care partners to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND. We are seeking a Project Support Officer to provide essential coordination and administrative support for the Local SEND Reform Plan.

You will coordinate meetings, maintain schedules and trackers, support monitoring and reporting, and ensure information is accurate, accessible and well-communicated.

Qualifications

• Have experience of providing project, programme, education, health or care administration.
• Have excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Be confident maintaining project schedules, trackers, records and documentation.
• Have strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Teams.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners across different organisations.
• Be able to work independently, use initiative and remain effective under pressure.

• Support monitoring and reporting, ensuring information is accurate and accessible.
