Job summary

Connect2Dorset, on behalf of Dorset Council, is recruiting a SEND Provision Lead to support the SEND Service. The role focuses on ensuring timely, high-quality provision for children and young people with SEND, coordinating EHCPs and leading annual reviews.

You will work across families, schools, Educational Psychologists, Social Care and partner agencies to drive continuous improvement in SEND processes and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
• Knowledge of EHCPs and SEND statutory processes.
• Strong case management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage complex and high-risk SEND cases, including disputes and tribunals.
• Develop and improve SEND processes, policies and service delivery.
• Analyse service performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Chair multi-agency meetings and annual review panels.

Responsibilities

• Manage SEND casework for children and young people aged 0-25.
• Coordinate and amend Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Lead annual reviews and ensure statutory deadlines are met.
• Work closely with families, schools, Educational Psychologists, Social Care and partner agencies.
• Manage complex cases and maintain accurate records.
