Job summary

Connect2Dorset is recruiting a SEND Case Officer (Provision Lead) to join Dorset Council's SEND Service. You will manage casework for children and young people aged 0-25, coordinate Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and lead annual reviews to meet statutory deadlines.

Working closely with families, schools, Educational Psychologists, Social Care and partner agencies, you’ll handle complex cases and maintain accurate records in a flexible remote/hybrid team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
• Knowledge of EHCPs and SEND statutory processes.
• Strong case management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage SEND casework for children and young people aged 0-25.
• Coordinate and amend Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Lead annual reviews and ensure statutory deadlines are met.
• Work closely with families, schools, Educational Psychologists, Social Care and partner agencies.
• Manage complex cases and maintain accurate records.
