Job summary

Fixby Junior and Infant School is seeking a dedicated SEND professional to lead and support high-quality provision for pupils with SEND within a friendly, supportive Trust environment. The role involves working closely with class teachers, the SENDCo and external professionals to implement planned strategies and monitor progress.

You will help coordinate day-to-day SEND operations, liaise with parents and staff, and contribute to professional discussions to ensure inclusive learning and positive

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children, particularly pupils with SEND.
• Strong understanding of the individual needs of pupils with SEND.
• Ability to implement learning programmes, interventions and strategies effectively.
• Ability to assess, monitor and record pupil progress accurately.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the effective delivery of high-quality provision for pupils with SEND.
• Coordinate the day-to-day organisation of the SEND provision and support staff.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents/carers and external professionals to implement strategies.
• Contribute to professional discussions and decision-making regarding SEND provision.
