Job summary

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking a SEND Programme Manager to lead the Special Educational Needs and Disability reform plan, ensuring delivery on schedule and value for money. You will coordinate with colleagues and external partners to meet DFE objectives and drive programme success.

Qualifications

Degree in a relevant business subject or equivalent programme management experience.
APMP qualification is required.
Continuous professional development to stay current with legislation and practices.
Experience managing large complex programmes, preferably in Children Adults and Health fields.

Responsibilities

Monitor and review progress against the SEND programme plan, ensuring targets are achieved.
Collaborate with Local Authority partners to deliver the SEND and AP programme.
Engage with elected members, stakeholder groups, communities and voluntary organisations.
Deliver presentations to committees, senior managers and external stakeholders.
Share knowledge of DFE legislation and policy to support project delivery and SEND deliverables.
