Job summary

Oldham Council is seeking a SEND Project Manager in Oldham to deliver national SEND reforms. You will join a programme team ensuring statutory timescales and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

The role focuses on robust project management, benefits realisation and cross-system collaboration. The position is a fixed-term contract for 3 years, offering a salary of £44,253 - £48,738 per annum, 36.66 hours per week, based at Spindles, George Street Oldham.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading and monitoring complex projects within a large organisation.
• Experience in change management and communicating with stakeholders to drive efficiencies.
• Ability to motivate teams, meet deadlines, and ensure quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across the system to manage programmes and projects, flagging issues promptly.
• Provide proportionate support for projects, researching best practice and relevance to Oldham.
• Assure benefits realisation for cashable and non-cashable benefits on time and within budget.
• Monitor risks, issues and interdependencies to minimise risk and identify opportunities.
