Job summary

Oldham Council is seeking a Programme Support Officer to contribute to delivering national SEND reforms in Oldham. You will work within a programme team to ensure timely delivery and statutory timescales, supporting wellbeing, inclusion and outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

Based at Spindles, George Street Oldham, the role offers a fixed-term contract for 3 years, 36.66 hours per week, with a salary of £32,578 - £35,570 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating and monitoring activities to support delivery of projects/programmes.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues at all levels.
• Understanding of project support requirements across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to creation and upkeep of project documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy and version control.
• Track and report on risks and issues, elevate as required.
• Monitor timescales and milestones, prompt action, escalate delays as needed.
• Be the point of contact for the programme team and direct queries to the right team member.
